Brittany Galvin, RN, NP

Ms. Galvin is a nurse practitioner and international relief worker with extensive experience in Haiti. A graduate of Quincy University and the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professionals, she has worked to provide health care to low-income patients in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and to homeless people during the COVID pandemic in Washington, DC. She spent two years as a volunteer with a religious community in Haiti where she assisted in the care of acute trauma patients in Port-au-Prince after the 2010 earthquake and treated cholera patients in the heavily hit rural town of Pendu. In her eight years in Haiti as a program developer, manager, and community worker she was committed to enriching the lives of the desperately poor in the Gros Morne region. She is presently undertaking religious studies in Madrid, Spain.
