Claude Allen

Mr. Allen brings a wealth of public policy experience to the MFP Board through his senior management positions in the non-profit and Government sectors. He was past Senior Vice-President of the Gerard Health Foundation managing 3-5 million dollars in grants to non-profits in the U.S., Caribbean, and Africa. He was Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy in the George W. Bush Administration where he also directed the Domestic Policy Council. Before his work in the President’s office, he was Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer at the Department of Health and Human Services managing a 539-billion-dollar budget aimed at providing services to Americans in need. Mr. Allen has travelled world-wide promoting human services and public health programs for victims of poverty.
