Monika Viola
Ms. Viola is a fiction writer and high school English teacher who received a degree in Middle East Studies from Brown University and graduate degrees in fiction writing and literature from Johns Hopkins University and Trinity College, Dublin, respectively. She worked in the MFP office in the U.S. on both the Bosnian Children’s Project and the Haitian Women’s Health Program and has travelled with MFP to both countries. In addition, Ms. Viola volunteers her technical writing and administrative skills to assist with MFP reports. brochures, strategic planning, and MFP’s social media presence. Ms. Viola is the daughter of Michael Viola, MFP Founder, and takes pride in the MFP tradition of “promoting sustainable health care, activism and human empathy.
